All tradesmen are certified to work in the City of Chicago and are Scaffolding Certified by their union local. Other companies may overlook the importance of safety on the jobsite. Although Midwest Masonry, Inc. is one of the largest mason contractors in Northern Illinois, safety is a top priority. We employ an independent agency to constantly review our safety program. They closely monitor our safety program by conducting random job site visits, holding monthly meetings with our foremen, and assist in the safety training of our field employees. At Midwest Masonry, Inc. we educate our employees on all potential jobsite hazards, including scaffolding, fall protection, wall bracing, forklift, and crane safety issues. We strive to identify potential hazards and correct them promptly, but most importantly, we try to prevent the hazard from re-occurring again. All of our employees understand while working for Midwest Masonry, Inc. they need to be committed to ensuring their jobsite is the safest as possible. As a result of this detailed safety program, Midwest Masonry, Inc. has received annual safety awards from the Lake County Contractors Association. |
